A Grammatical Specification of Human-Computer Dialogue
نویسنده
چکیده
The Seeheim Model of humancomputer interaction partitions an interactive application into a user-interface, a dialogue controller and the application itself. One of the formal techniques of implementing the dialogue controller is based on context-free grammars and automata. In this work, we modify an off-the-shelf compiler generator (YACC) to generate the dialogue controller. The dialogue controller is then integrated into the popular X-window system, to create an interactive-application generator. The actions of the user drive the automaton, which in turn controls the application. compiler generators dialogue models humancomputer interaction formal techniques

A Grammar Formalism for Specifying ISU-Based Dialogue Systems
We describe how to give a full specification of an ISU-based dialogue system as a grammar. For this we use Grammatical Framework (GF), which separates grammars into abstract and concrete syntax. All components necessary for a complete GoDiS dialogue system are specified in the abstract syntax, while the linguistic details are defined in the concrete syntax. Since GF is a multilingual grammar fo...
متن کاملGestion Automatique du Dialogue Homme-Machine à partir de Spécifications Conceptuelles
This dissertation is about Human-Computer Interfaces (HCI). It is built on two main themes which are the Specification of Human-Computer Dialogue and the Automatic Management of Human-Computer Dialogue. This work is based on the Diane+ method which was initially created for the Specification of Human-Computer Dialogue. Diane+ is based upon hierarchical planning and integrates the level of users...
متن کاملInterpreted Petri Nets used for human-machine dialogue specification
this paper proposes an approach for the specification of human-machine dialogue for interactive process control applications. This approach is based on a formal modelling of the Human-Machine System behaviour. This modelling makes it possible to deduce the user requirements and then to identify the User Interface (UI) objects. The formal aspect allows the validation of the specifications before...
متن کاملSpecification and interpretation of multimodal dialogue models for human-robot interaction
In this paper a conceptual model for the design and construction of interactive multimodal systems is presented. This model is based on a representational language for the specification of dialogue models and its associated program interpreter. Dialogues models are domain and modality independent conversational schemes characterizing the dynamic of a multimodal interaction, and domain specific ...
متن کاملWeb Service Choreography Verification Using Z Formal Specification
Web Service Choreography Description Language (WS-CDL) describes and orchestrates the services interactions among multiple participants. WS-CDL verification is essential since the interactions would lead to mismatches. Existing works verify the messages ordering, the flow of messages, and the expected results from collaborations. In this paper, we present a Z specification of WS-CDL. Besides ve...
